Enver Hoxhaj, Member of Parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), stated that the matter of the party convention for selecting the party leader, which he had previously raised concerns about, is now closed.
He emphasized that he respects the party’s decision and will now fully support the party and its leader, Bedri Hamza, in the upcoming national elections on December 28.
“When the campaign moves outside, I am with PDK, I am with Bedri. For me, the convention issue is closed,” Hoxhaj told Televizioni 1.
He added that the new party leader, Bedri Hamza, has both the strength and support necessary to lead PDK forward.
Hoxhaj confirmed that he will participate in the upcoming snap elections.
The PDK leadership member also stated that the party is fully prepared for elections.
“As a party in opposition, and as a party that has won several rounds of elections and possesses political, intellectual, and professional capacity, of course we are ready for elections. When you are in opposition, you have a clear understanding of the demands of the citizens of Kosovo, their expectations for the country, and what should be presented as a political platform,” Hoxhaj said.
