Only one day has passed since the Commonwealth of The Bahamas decided to recognize Kosovo’s independence, becoming the 121st country to do so.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, shared the statement of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Philip Davis, following this decision.
In his statement, Prime Minister Davis praised President Osmani’s presence in The Bahamas, emphasizing the special significance of this visit for his country.
“The fact that you, as President of Kosovo, deemed it appropriate to honor us with your presence here in The Bahamas carries a special significance for us,” said Davis.
President Osmani shared this statement as a sign of gratitude following the official recognition of the Republic of Kosovo by The Bahamas, describing the decision as an important step in strengthening Kosovo’s international subjectivity.
