The Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization (OVL-UÇK) has expressed deep concern over the refusal by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague to allow Salih Mustafa a humanitarian visit to see his father.
According to OVL-UÇK, Commander Cali’s father is in critical health condition.
“Salih Mustafa has been convicted by a final verdict. There is no risk whatsoever of influencing witnesses or the judicial process. The refusal of this request is incomprehensible, inhumane, and contrary to the fundamental principles of human rights.
We inform you that OVL-UÇK will raise this concern with all the highest international institutions, including human rights organizations, seeking reaction and accountability for these serious violations,” the statement reads.
The organization added that justice without humanism is not justice.
