Kosovar Passport Rises in Henley Passport Index, Now Ranked 62nd Globally

Kosovo has made significant progress in the Henley Passport Index, moving from 101st place in 2023 to 62nd globally.

According to the index, Kosovar citizens can now travel visa-free to 81 countries worldwide, reflecting the country’s diplomatic efforts and improving international relations.

Compared to last year, when Kosovo was ranked 68th, the latest measurement was conducted on December 10, 2025, showing a clear upward trend in citizens’ global mobility.

In the region, Croatia remains the leader, ranked 7th, with visa-free access to 184 countries, on par with nations such as the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Singapore continues to top the list, offering access to 193 countries, benefiting from strong diplomatic ties and economic power.

This advancement of the Kosovar passport is considered positive news for citizens, facilitating easier travel and creating new opportunities in business, education, and tourism.
