During the night, rainfall will resume across Kosovo, quickly turning into sleet and snow, initially in hilly and mountainous areas, and later spreading to many lowland areas, though not everywhere. Early in the morning and possibly during the forenoon, there may be periods of slightly more intense snowfall, creating picturesque winter scenes in many parts of the Republic of Kosovo.
Tomorrow, Kosovo is expected to experience fully overcast conditions with snowfall, especially in the morning and forenoon. In the lowest areas of Dukagjini, as well as in some other lowlands, rain will prevail. In parts of the Kosovo Plain, light snow accumulation is possible, while several centimeters of snow are expected in hilly and mountainous regions.
Snowfall is also expected in northwestern North Macedonia, northeastern Albania, and northern Montenegro, mainly in hilly and mountainous areas.
In the lowlands of North Macedonia, rain will dominate. Albania is expected to see sunny weather across the western half of the country, while cloudiness will persist in the southeast, east, and north up to central regions. Late in the evening, rain will occur in southern Albania, while the southeast may see a mix of rain, sleet, and snow.
On Friday, the weather will remain cloudy and cold, with isolated, light precipitation in some areas. Certain regions may experience brief sunny intervals.
The weekend will be mostly clear with occasional local clouds. Morning frost will intensify, and on Sunday, cold northerly winds will affect Kosovo, accompanied by sporadic snowfall, mainly in hilly and mountainous areas.
