The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that family voting is prohibited in the December 28 elections.

According to the official statement, the CEC emphasized that family voting is banned under the Law on General Elections, while the Criminal Code classifies family voting as a criminal offense.

“The vote is personal and secret. Respect the law, respect democracy,” the CEC stated in its announcement.
