Following numerous media reports on flooding in several municipalities in Kosovo and the release of alarming footage from the ground, former Foreign Minister and PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj reacted today via a Facebook post.
Hoxhaj expressed his concern over the situation, emphasizing that despite the responses of local institutions, immediate action from central authorities is essential at this time.
“I am following with concern the news about flooding in several municipalities in Kosovo. Regardless of the responses of local institutions, at this moment there must be action from the central level, without delay or excuses, to act immediately and with full responsibility to protect the lives, property, and safety of citizens,” Hoxhaj wrote.
Flooding has been reported in several municipalities due to heavy rainfall, while local authorities remain on the ground managing the situation.
