A section of the road in the village of Polluzhë, in the municipality of Rahovec, has collapsed due to severe flooding, making it impassable for vehicles.

In addition to the road damage, residents have been left without electricity and drinking water, after an الكهرباء power pole was knocked down and a water pipeline was damaged by the floods.

Local resident Jakup Morina said the damage caused by the road collapse is significant and requires urgent intervention.

The road collapsed due to heavy rain and is completely impassable. Immediate repairs are needed because there is no alternative route. Electricians arrived after the power pole fell into the river. Drinking water has also been cut off because the pipeline was damaged. Teams from KRU ‘Gjakova’ and electricians are on site,” Morina said.

Response teams from the Regional Water Company ‘Gjakova’ have been deployed to repair the damaged water supply, while electricity crews are working to restore power.

As a result of the floods, the situation is also reported to be critical in the nearby village of Çiflak, where residents are facing similar difficulties.
