The European Investors Council, in cooperation with the Embassy of France in Kosovo, is organizing today (Thursday) the French Business Day in Kosovo, the first edition of a high-level forum dedicated to strengthening economic cooperation and promoting investment opportunities between Kosovo and France.
This event is the result of ongoing cooperation between the European Investors Council and the Embassy of France in Kosovo and aims to serve as a sustainable platform for economic dialogue and collaboration.
The forum will open with introductory remarks by Emrush Ujkani, Executive Director of the European Investors Council, and Olivier Guérot, Ambassador of France to Kosovo, alongside senior representatives of Kosovo’s governmental institutions.
Throughout the day, thematic panels will examine Kosovo’s financial sector potential in supporting investments, the energy transition and green agenda, public-private partnerships in strategic sectors, as well as the development of the technology and innovation ecosystem. Discussions will feature high-level representatives from the Central Bank of Kosovo, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the French Development Agency (AFD), as well as French, international, and local investors and companies.
The event will conclude with dedicated networking sessions, offering concrete opportunities for cooperation between institutions, investors, and businesses from Kosovo, France, and the wider region.
“French Business Day in Kosovo aims to promote Kosovo as an investment destination, strengthen public-private dialogue, and contribute to deepening economic and trade relations between Kosovo and France,” the French Embassy in Kosovo stated.
