A delegation from the Presidency of Kosovo, who were in the U.S. during the inauguration of President Donald Trump, met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Alexander Kasanof.
In a press release, the Presidency announced that during the meeting, recent developments in bilateral relations were discussed.
“During the meeting, recent developments in bilateral relations were discussed, with a special focus on the Kosovo-U.S. Strategic Dialogue, which was initiated by the President, the areas that will be covered by this strategic dialogue, as well as expectations from this process. Additionally, other matters of mutual interest were addressed. Given that it was the first working day of the new administration led by President Trump, the Presidency confirmed its full commitment to the continuous deepening of relations and expanding cooperation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and advancing security, as well as strengthening and affirming the international standing of the Republic of Kosovo,” the statement said.
