A police officer from North Macedonia has been arrested by the Economic Crimes Directorate of the Kosovo Police.
He was arrested on suspicion of producing counterfeit 2-euro coins, according to sources within security institutions, as reported by Teve1.
According to these sources, the suspect’s premises in Skopje were also raided, where machinery for producing counterfeit money was found and confiscated.
Teve1 has sent inquiries to the Kosovo Police to confirm the case and obtain further details, and will provide additional information on this matter.
