According to the police statement, the individual, identified as A.K., was stopped in his vehicle.
“During the inspection, the police found and seized 23,700 euros, which the individual was attempting to take out of Albania without declaring them in accordance with the applicable laws.”
“Following the procedural actions for the case, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, and criminal proceedings were initiated against the Polish citizen A.K., 45 years old, residing in Poland, for the criminal offense ‘Failure to declare money and valuables at the border’,” the statement said.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Korça for further actions.
