The suspected killer of a former British Rolls-Royce designer who was stabbed to death at his home in Bavaria last week has been arrested outside Paris following a Europe-wide manhunt, German police said. A motive was not immediately determined.
Ian Cameron, 74, was stabbed on July 12 and fatally wounded. A Serbian national, 22, was identified as the main suspect based on tips from the public, the Furstenfeldbruck police department said.
“Once the search began, investigators were able to quickly determine the identity of the suspect, verify him with the authorities and transfer him to the investigators of the Bavarian Criminal Investigation Office,” police said Friday.
