A week after his reelection, the Mayor of Suhareka Municipality, Bali Muharremaj, visited the village of Reshtan today to assess firsthand the situation following floods caused by heavy morning rains.
During the visit, Mayor Muharremaj met with local residents and emergency teams, who are actively engaged on the ground to evaluate the damage and provide assistance where needed.
He stated that the municipality is fully prepared and all immediate measures are being taken to normalize the situation, reports IndeksOnline.
Residents of Reshtan reported that some local roads have been flooded and several household yards filled with water, but fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.
On this occasion, on behalf of the municipality, Mayor Muharremaj urged citizens to exercise extra caution.
