The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, stated today that the faster the political stalemate ends, the sooner the country’s crisis will be resolved.
Speaking at a press conference, Abdixhiku expressed certainty that there is no alternative to holding elections.
“The sooner Glauk Konjufca and Vetëvendosje (VV) stop wasting time, the sooner the crisis will be resolved, a new government formed, a new budget approved, and citizens’ legitimacy restored. LDK calls for acting responsibly, for the sake of the Republic. The only solution is new elections,” Abdixhiku said.
He also emphasized that delaying elections is a political tactic — both disappointing and reckless — showing disregard for the Republic of Kosovo and the future awaiting its citizens.
