The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, has responded to President Vjosa Osmani.

He stated that he had been ready to vote for the package of laws covering Prishtina’s budget, RTK salaries, and the European Growth Package.

Post:

Yesterday, caught up in our organizational and nomination work, I missed the President’s statement, and then also the exaltation of Sancho Panza who claimed to have “shared their truth.”

The truth is this – and I stand by it before the country and God:

On the evening of Glauk Konjufca’s nomination, I expressed to the President of the country my willingness for a package to be voted on, which could even be called the President’s Package; with a three-month budget extension, the passing of the laws for Prishtina and Gjilan, securing RTK salaries, and the passing of the European Growth Package.

That same evening, immediately after Konjufca’s mandate, the President contacted me, saying she had communicated with the mandate holder, conveyed the message to the Vetëvendosje Movement, and they expressed a very positive stance on this idea.

In those moments, I contacted Memli Krasniqi as Chairman of PDK; Ramush Haradinaj as Chairman of AAK; and Fatmir Limaj as Chairman of Nisma. All three were informed that there was an opportunity to vote on such a package for the good of the country.

That evening, I also contacted several QUINT ambassadors.

From that moment, nothing moved for 15 days.

Fifteen days without any communication; except an inexplicable delay in spending days before a pre-announced crisis. Inexplicable to me; understandable as a tendency to create a crisis and assign political blame.

This proposal, open, discussed, and initiated by me, was returned to the table of election setting, and that with a pen over the decree to dissolve the Assembly. Even there, I stated, in front of everyone, at the very end of my speech, that if there is willingness from everyone, LDK is not opposed. This statement is officially recorded.

There was no movement, even though it was late. Even though 15 days had been wasted unnecessarily. Even though there was no willingness to discuss this idea together in one place.

Today, I am surprised at how easily this fact and this truth are erased. I understand that we are in a political battle, but in this battle, we must maintain at least minimal correctness and human behavior.

This is the truth.

Nevertheless, for all challenges, there are solutions. In the coming days, you will see that the blockade was deliberate. It is not new. It has been ongoing for 12 months. This entire crisis is a staging of a Don Quixote battle with windmills.

Kosovo can be made easy.

It is ours. We will make it happen!
