Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), today hosted German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde at the party’s headquarters. Their discussions centered on the ongoing institutional deadlock in Kosovo.
According to an LDK statement, Abdixhiku “emphasized the necessity for the formation of functional institutions that serve the citizens and reiterated the need for a quick political solution to form the institutions.”
Abdixhiku further stressed the importance of respecting the Constitution. He criticized what he described as the “irresponsibility of the first party and the lack of political will” for holding hostage the functionalization of the country’s institutions. “This behavior not only damages public trust but also violates the fundamental principles of democracy and respect for the constitutional order,” the statement concluded.
