Actress Anila Bisha has filed a lawsuit against the Albanian government in the Administrative Court, requesting that her image no longer be used for the virtual figure “Diella” until the legal proceedings are concluded.
The lawsuit targets the Council of Ministers, the Albanian Agency for Information Society (AKSHI), and the private company involved in the project. The actress claims that her likeness was used without proper authorization to create the so-called “virtual minister” Diella.
According to Bisha, her contract with the company Aleat permitted the use of her image only for the virtual assistant on the e-Albania platform and only until the end of 2025. The agreement, she argues, did not foresee the use of her image for the creation or promotion of a “virtual minister.”
For this reason, she is asking the court to prohibit any further use of her image until the case is resolved.
