After 95% of Votes Processed, Vetëvendosje Secures 56 Seats in the Assembly

After the processing of approximately 95% of polling stations nationwide, the Vetëvendosje Movement, with just under 50% of the vote, has secured 56 seats in the Assembly of Kosovo.

Based on seat allocation calculated using the D’Hondt formula, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), with around 21% of the vote, has won 23 seats. The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has secured 15 seats, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has won 6 seats.

Compared to the February elections, Vetëvendosje has increased its representation in the Assembly by eight seats, up from 48 seats previously.

Meanwhile, PDK has lost one seat.

The biggest loss was recorded by LDK, which lost five seats, dropping from 20 seats previously.

The AAK–NISMA coalition had 8 seats in the previous legislature.

These calculations do not yet include votes cast by mail or at diplomatic missions abroad.

An additional 20 seats are reserved for minority communities: 10 for the Serbian community and 10 for other non-majority communities. To form a parliamentary majority, 61 seats are required.
