Donald Trump has confirmed that he will welcome his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, to the White House on Friday.
Zelensky had earlier announced on Thursday that he would be traveling to Washington “this week.”
The Ukrainian president praised the ceasefire reached in Gaza, brokered by Donald Trump, saying that it offers hope for peace in Ukraine, where the American leader also aims to play a mediating role with Moscow.
