U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his claims of playing a role in preventing several conflicts, including the recent tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, following his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During an exchange with a Fox News reporter, Trump listed the five conflicts he claimed to have influenced: India-Pakistan, Israel-Iran, Rwanda-Congo, Kosovo-Serbia, Cambodia-Thailand, and Azerbaijan-Armenia.
He stated, “We did something extraordinary,” emphasizing that his interventions had saved lives.
Trump has previously mentioned that he halted the Kosovo-Serbia conflict in early August, describing it as a situation that was “about to start.”
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani confirmed Trump’s claims in July, noting that at the end of May 2025, Serbia took steps perceived as escalating tensions toward Kosovo. She compared these actions to the attack in Banjskë, underlining the gravity of the situation.
Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing international attention on his diplomatic efforts, including recent discussions with European and NATO leaders to address global conflicts.
