The iconic Albanian singer Adelina Ismaili marked one of the most emotional milestones of her artistic journey on Wednesday evening, holding a grand recital concert to celebrate 40 years of her music career.
The event, filled with her greatest hits, brought nostalgia and deep emotion to the audience who have followed her work for decades.
Before the concert began, Adelina was honored by the President of Kosovo with the Presidential Medal of Merit, recognizing her exceptional contribution to art and culture. The moment was warmly welcomed by the audience, serving as a deserved tribute to her powerful impact on the Albanian music scene.
After the ceremony, Adelina shared a photo of the medal on her social media, dedicating this high honor to her late mother, Mona, who had also been her manager throughout her career.
In her Facebook post, the singer wrote:
“I dedicate this Medal of Merit for art and culture to my mother – the one who gave birth to me, raised me, and shaped me as an artist. I missed you so much, mom. I hope you are proud among the angels. From the depth of my soul, I thank my President, the President of our hearts, for this lifetime honor.”
