Mimoza Kusari-Lila, a Member of Parliament from the Vetëvendosje (VV) list, has announced that the party will once again approach the Constitutional Court due to the opposition MPs’ continued abstention from voting, Reporteri.net reports.
Kusari-Lila stated that the current interpretation of the Constitutional Court’s ruling has further complicated the situation rather than clarifying it. She emphasized that voting in a session is an obligation.
“We do not have the same reading of the Constitutional Court’s judgment; it is clear that such an interpretation has not clarified but rather complicated the circumstances. Meanwhile, a third appeal to the court is absolutely necessary given the current situation of opposition parties not participating in the vote,” she said. “Voting in a session is an obligation. We are preparing to address the court regarding the opposition MPs’ non-participation in voting,” she added.
