Recently, in Southport, England, several people have received bodily injuries, among them children, as they were reportedly stabbed by a sharp tool (knife).
In connection with this case, as announced by the police, a person has been arrested.
“We can confirm that emergency services are in Southport following a major incident this morning,” police said.
The British Prime Minister has now responded to the incident in Southport, calling it “horrific and deeply shocking”.
“Horrible and deeply shocking news from Southport. My thoughts are with all those affected,” Keir Starmer wrote on X.
“I would like to thank the police and the emergency services for their quick response”, added the prime minister, indicating that he is being informed about the development of the situation.
