Agim Aliu, the current mayor from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), is heading toward securing another term as Mayor of Ferizaj, with results showing an uncontested victory.
According to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC), there will be no runoff, as Aliu has achieved a decisive lead over his opponents.
“FERIZAJ ❤️ my strength and my love, THANK YOU 🙏🏻,” Aliu wrote in a Facebook post, sharing photos from his speech before citizens gathered in the main square in front of the municipality building.
“Congratulations on Ferizaj’s victory — congratulations to the people of Ferizaj!” he added.
