Security expert Agim Musliu has claimed that two candidates removed from Nenad Rašić’s party “For Freedom, Justice and Survival” were reportedly detained in Serbia by Serbian security institutions.

According to Musliu, during their detention, the candidates were subjected to intense pressure, forcing them to publicly announce their departure from the political party.

“If they had not done this, they would have been arrested or faced even more severe consequences,” Musliu wrote on Facebook.

He described this as a mechanism used by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to compel Kosovo Serbs to vote in line with Serbia’s interests, specifically in favor of the Serbian List.

Musliu added that while Vučić may boast about these actions, everyone should be aware that such measures constitute a serious crime against an individual and a blatant interference in Kosovo’s elections.

He also revealed that Nikoličević’s family and close circle were fully aware of the pressure applied, noting that he had no real opportunity to resist or report it, even after leaving Serbia.

Musliu concluded that these are brutal, Russian-style methods of coercion, which Serbia is allegedly systematically applying against Kosovo Serbs and, directly, against Kosovo itself.
