BDI leader Ali Ahmeti has commemorated Arbën Xhaferi on the 13th anniversary of his passing, describing him as “a clear-minded man who loved the nation above all.”
“Even though 13 years have passed since his departure, the absence of Arbën Xhaferi is felt the same,” Ahmeti wrote.
He recalled that during the 2001 war, when the nation needed unity, Xhaferi was present to help coordinate their actions. The cooperation between them, he added, continued long after the war.
“He often told me: ‘Consider me your older brother.’ And he truly was—an older brother, a wise friend, and a clear mind who loved the nation above everything.”
Ahmeti concluded his tribute with: “Eternal remembrance for Arbën Xhaferi!”
