The Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI) has announced job openings in 12 fields: intelligence, information technology security and networks, programming, IT support, cybersecurity, financial auditing, performance auditing, IT auditing, compliance auditing, internal auditing, physical security, and hygiene.
In the field of intelligence, candidates must have a university degree, and knowledge of one of the following languages is preferred: English, Serbian, Russian, Arabic, Chinese.
All positions are full-time, and the contract duration is indefinite.
Candidates for employment at AKI will undergo a medical examination, security verification, and may also be subject to other specific conditions.
“All candidates who provide incorrect information will be disqualified during the security verification process,” the announcement states.
In addition to the above conditions, candidates must also meet the strict security standards outlined in Article 14 of Law No. 03/L-063 on the Kosovo Intelligence Agency and relevant legislation.
The selection process is classified and consists of several phases, including selection and testing.
“Candidates can apply in no more than two fields. Selection for the respective positions will be based on qualifications, criteria, and general conditions described in the announcement as well as specific, internal criteria and qualifications. Candidates may be tested on skills and abilities outlined in the announcement and internal normative acts,” the announcement states.
Interested candidates must complete the employment application and attach the following documents: a motivation letter (expectations from the job and career goals); copies of evidence of completed studies issued by educational institutions. Candidates who have completed education abroad must provide a certified diploma; a copy of the high school certificate (for fields requiring a high school qualification); a copy of the primary school certificate (for the field requiring primary qualification); evidence of work experience; copies of evidence for other qualifications, training certificates, or other forms of professional development; birth certificate or extract of birth; a copy of the ID card or passport (valid); a 5×5 format photograph (not older than one month); a criminal record certificate (issued by KGJK, not older than three months).
Applications must be submitted electronically on the official AKI website www.aki-rks.org/konkursi, by completing the application and attaching the required documents.
“It is the responsibility of the applicants to ensure that they complete or describe in the application the required information, and that the attached documents are clearly visible and readable; otherwise, the applications will be considered incomplete/deficient,” the announcement continues.
The competition will be open for fifteen calendar days from the date of publication on the official AKI website and in the media, from July 5, 2024, to July 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
“Applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will be rejected. After each recruitment process/phase, only selected candidates will be contacted for further steps. To maintain the confidentiality and procedures of the internal process, which is classified, AKI is not obliged to contact candidates who are not selected to proceed to the recruitment phases.
