Alban Bujari, the photojournalist who captured the memories of the war through his photographs, has passed away.

The photojournalist of Koha Ditore, Alban Bujari, passed away on Thursday, reports Gazeta Sinjali.

The news of his death was announced by his family and relatives, and it was disclosed that he will be buried today in the Dragodan cemetery.

“With deep sorrow, we inform you that on 27.02.2025, the beloved husband, son, brother, and father, Alban Fadil Bujari, passed away. The burial will take place on 28.02.2025 (Friday), in the Pristina cemetery in Dragodan, at 14:45,” said the family’s announcement.

The deceased was a photojournalist during the last war in Kosovo, where he also opened the exhibition titled “Wind of Blood”, which commemorated the Massacre of Rogova in Gjakova, where Serbian forces killed and then massacred 21 fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army and several civilians from the village.
