One of the most sensitive and anticipated matches for the Albanian national team against Serbia on June 7 has prompted the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) to implement a new ticket distribution method.

For the first time ever, FSHF has decided that tickets will be allocated through an electronic lottery system, avoiding direct sales.

In its official statement released on Monday, the Federation explained:

“Given that demand is expected to exceed stadium capacity, FSHF announces that there will be no immediate sale of tickets. Instead, a procedure will be followed. Fans will have the opportunity to fill out an electronic application form to express their interest in obtaining tickets. This form will be published by FSHF on May 15. Each applicant may request up to four tickets. Once the application deadline ends, a random and automated computer draw will be conducted to select applicants, who will then have the opportunity to purchase the tickets. Selected individuals will be notified a few days before the match via their email address. FSHF emphasizes that each ticket may be transferred only once. Any further transfer will render the ticket invalid.”
