Albania has formally deposited with the Government of the United States the official document confirming the ratification of the “Agreement on the Accession of the Republic of Albania to the Peace Board Charter.”

The document in question is the Instrument of Ratification, which constitutes the formal legal act certifying that all constitutional procedures in Albania have been completed and that the agreement has entered into full legal force on the Albanian side.

The Embassy of Albania in the United States published the ratification document, signed by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali.

According to the official statement, the deposit of this instrument with U.S. authorities marks the completion of Albania’s commitment to this initiative, further consolidating its role in promoting peace, stability, and international cooperation.

“This step definitively formalizes our commitment to this important initiative and represents another meaningful moment in strengthening Albania’s role in promoting peace, stability, and international cooperation,” the statement said.

Albanian authorities consider this development a significant milestone in reinforcing the country’s strategic partnership with the United States and deepening its engagement within the Euro-Atlantic security architecture.
