The Albanian Armed Forces achieved another remarkable success on the international stage, ranking third in one of the toughest military competitions in the world — the “Cambrian Patrol”, held annually in Wales.

Participating with the Southern Regiment of the Land Force, the Albanian troops successfully completed a 48-hour challenge under extremely demanding terrain and combat conditions.

Organized by the 160th Brigade of the British Army, this prestigious event — with over 60 years of tradition — tests soldiers’ physical endurance, tactical skills, and teamwork in complex operational scenarios.

Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu praised the achievement, highlighting that Albania’s performance reflects the professionalism, discipline, and dedication of its forces.

“Cooperation at all levels with allied forces to strengthen human capacities within the Armed Forces remains a priority of our Defense 2030 program,” declared Minister Vengu.
