Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, announced that four more Albanian citizens have been successfully evacuated from Israel. This comes amidst the escalating conflict with Iran.
In a Facebook post, Hasani stated that two of the evacuees departed via Jordan, while the other two were evacuated through Egypt. The citizens were in Israel for family and professional reasons.
This latest group follows the earlier evacuation of five other Albanian citizens from the country.
The evacuation efforts received assistance from various entities, including Israeli authorities, the Greek and Bulgarian Embassies in Tel Aviv, Egyptian authorities, and the General Consulate of Albania in Lebanon.
