Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a meeting with Kosovo’s Ambassador to Albania, Skënder Durmishi, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
In a post on “X,” Hoxha described the meeting as very friendly and emphasized that Kosovo remains an undisputed priority of Albania’s foreign policy, recalling that he had previously confirmed this stance to Kosovo’s Minister Glauk Konjufca.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their joint commitment to deepening the special Albania–Kosovo partnership and expanding cooperation across all sectors. This collaboration will be realized through closer institutional coordination, increased economic exchanges, and the advancement of joint strategic projects, particularly in security, energy, infrastructure, and education.
Hoxha also stressed that Albania will continue to strongly support strengthening Kosovo’s international recognition and its Euro-Atlantic integration process.
