An Albanian citizen lost his life in a tragic accident in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to local police, the vehicle driven by 34-year-old Fabjan Koko was traveling on the Varis-Koropi road in the East Attica region when, due to high speed, it veered off the road and crashed forcefully into a shop window. The vehicle subsequently caught fire.
Koko was unable to escape from the car and died on the spot.
His body was transported to the Athens morgue, while the Athens traffic police are investigating the causes of the accident.
