President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has condemned the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones, expressing full support for Poland and reaffirming Albania’s commitment to NATO unity.

Begaj underlined the importance of solidarity within the Alliance in the face of growing security challenges across Europe.

In a statement on social media, the Albanian President declared:

“Albania condemns the violation of Poland’s airspace by Russia. We express full solidarity with Poland and commend its response, in cooperation with NATO, to prevent escalation. Albania remains committed to Alliance unity and the collective defense of all allies.”

This reaction comes shortly after Polish officials described the Russian drone intrusion as an “unprecedented attack” on both Polish and NATO territory.
