The Albanian community in New York held its annual parade today, transforming one of the city’s most vibrant areas into a sea of red and black. Thousands of Albanians marched along Central Park in West Manhattan, bringing an Albanian flair to the heart of America for several hours.
This year’s parade was again organized by “Albanian Roots,” with Marko Kepi delivering the traditional welcoming speech.
Before the parade, the Mayor of New York City hosted a reception for the Albanian community at his residence, marking a significant recognition of the diaspora’s presence and contributions.
