As the U.S. and the world mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Albanian President Bajram Begaj reaffirmed his country’s solidarity with the United States.
“Today, with deep sorrow, we remember the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York City. Albania reaffirms its unwavering stance against all forms of terrorism and violence, anywhere in the world, and expresses full solidarity with the families of the victims, the people, and the institutions of the United States,” Begaj wrote on social media.
He emphasized that Albania will always stand by the U.S. as a strategic partner and trusted ally in defending peace and international security.
