Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, participated as a keynote speaker in a discussion organized by the Independent Intellectuals Association Krug 99 during his visit to Sarajevo. The event focused on the theme “Developing Regional Relations with Special Focus on the Relations Between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo.”

In his address, Kurti emphasized that Serbia’s desire to divide Bosnia stems from its fear of the potential return of autonomy for Vojvodina, a region in northern Serbia. He argued that Serbia is seeking to create instability in the region by pushing for Bosnia’s division, while at the same time, Serbia may face internal challenges related to its own territorial and political unity. Kurti stressed that Serbia’s actions reflect its internal struggles and its ongoing efforts to maintain control over Vojvodina.

The discussion highlighted the importance of regional cooperation and stability, with particular attention given to the bilateral relations between Bosnia and Kosovo.
