Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, cast her vote today in Prishtina for the second round of local elections.
After voting, Haxhiu called on citizens to turn out in large numbers in all municipalities holding runoffs, including the capital.
“I just exercised my right to vote and I invite all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in the municipalities holding runoffs, including the capital, to exercise their voting right. Today is their day — a day when they decide who will lead the municipalities of Kosovo. The process takes only a few minutes. I encourage everyone to vote calmly because the situation appears very well organized. Kosovo is an example of how elections are conducted, and I hope everything goes smoothly and successfully,” Haxhiu said
