The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, took part in commemorative activities marking the Epopee of Jezerc and the Day of Martyrs of Ferizaj Municipality.
In a Facebook post, Ahmeti highlighted the sacrifice of the martyrs and their timeless message of freedom, emphasizing that it is a responsibility carried by the people.
“Today in Ferizaj, we gathered to honor the dearest sons and daughters of the nation: the martyrs who gave meaning to our freedom with their blood and their lives. The Epopee of Jezerc, the Day of the Martyrs of Ferizaj Municipality, and the eternal memory of General Imri Ilazi – Commander Ferri, remind us that freedom is their legacy and our responsibility,” Ahmeti wrote.
He further declared:
“Eternal glory to the Martyrs of the Nation! Eternal glory to the Martyrs of the Jezerc Epopee! Eternal honor to General Imri Ilazi – Commander Ferri!”
