The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, declared that today’s protest in Scheveningen, The Hague, once again confirmed that the freedom of the Albanian people cannot be judged.

In a Facebook post, Ahmeti emphasized that the Kosovo Liberation Army’s (KLA) war was just, liberating, and supported by the democratic world.

“Justice for the liberators cannot be built on political accusations and fabricated evidence coming from Serbia and Russia,” Ahmeti stated.

He added that the gathering of diaspora members and former KLA fighters in The Hague sent a powerful message: “Our freedom is not on trial.”

Ahmeti concluded his message by honoring the legacy of the KLA:

“Glory to the KLA and its fighters!”
