The match organized by the Municipality of Pristina in honor of Pristina’s Liberation Day ended in a 6-6 draw between two teams selected by Kosovo’s well-known footballers Edon Zhegrova and Milot Rashica.
Although both players were absent from the Kosovo national team for the recent victories against Armenia and Comoros due to injuries, they still delivered an entertaining performance for fans present at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium on Wednesday evening.
Zhegrova, who hasn’t played for Lille since December 14 last year due to an adductor muscle injury, has now overcome the problem and has resumed intensive training in preparation for the new season.
After a difficult period, he is in the recovery phase and getting ready for the upcoming football season.
It remains unclear whether Zhegrova will stay at Lille or move to another European club, as there has been growing interest in signing him.
