Renowned climate and human rights activist Greta Thunberg will join a protest tomorrow, July 23, in Skanderbeg Square in Tirana, in support of the Palestinian people.

Urgent Call to Action for Gaza

The protest is organized by the Movement for Human Rights and International Peace “Solidarity Albania,” which has circulated a poster stating: “Urgent. Stop the Hunger. Allow Food, Allow Life. Protest with Greta Thunberg.”

A video of Thunberg has been published on the movement’s official Instagram account, where she calls on citizens to join the protest.

“Gaza has entered Phase 5 of malnutrition, and Palestinians are using what little energy they have left to urge the world to stand up and choose a side. Tomorrow, we will rise together to demand an end to Israel’s illegal occupation,” Thunberg declared.

The protest is expected to begin at 6:00 PM.

Thunberg’s Ongoing Advocacy for Palestinians

Greta Thunberg has been actively supporting Palestinians for some time, raising her voice about the humanitarian crisis they are experiencing, particularly due to the lack of food and basic supplies. In June, she embarked on a humanitarian aid ship towards Gaza, but Israeli authorities intercepted and subsequently deported her, an action that drew international reactions.
