The commander of NATO’s peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (KFOR), Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met today with a delegation from the U.S. Congress, led by Congressman Michael Turner.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Anu Prattipati, also joined the delegation, KFOR announced.
During the meeting, Major General Ulutaş briefed the American delegation on the security situation in Kosovo and the region, as well as on KFOR’s ongoing engagements.
He emphasized KFOR’s unwavering commitment to contributing to lasting security throughout the territory of Kosovo.
Ulutaş also highly praised the long-standing and continuous contribution of the United States to the KFOR mission and regional stability.
