Kosovo captain and Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani is expected to extend his contract with the Italian club.
According to CalcioNapoli24, the latest economic details of the contract are under review, with the extension running until June 2029.
“This is a long-term contract for the defender, who considers Napoli his home,” the outlet reported.
The contract extension is also seen as a reward for Rrahmani’s loyalty, as the Kosovo captain refused offers from Tottenham, Saudi clubs, German clubs, and another Italian club.
Rrahmani has been with Napoli since 2020, joining from Verona for €14 million, and has won Serie A twice with the club.
