An explosion occurred after midnight in the center of Zvecan, near the Post Office building, causing material damage. Following the incident, a significant number of Kosovo Police forces were deployed to the area since last night, reports Rks News.
The North Region Police provided details about the incident, confirming that no one was injured in the explosion, but material damage was caused.
Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of the North Region Police, told that the windows of part of the building were broken due to the explosion, and the police are continuing their investigation at the scene.
“There are no injuries, the windows of part of the building were broken, but at the moment we cannot provide further information. The police, with the relevant units, are still at the scene,” said Elshani.
Today, Elshani confirmed that an unexploded device was also found inside the building, which was later neutralized in a controlled manner by the police units.
“One device has exploded, and we neutralized another one in a controlled manner. There are no injuries, there is material damage, and the Police are working to clarify the case,” said Elshani.
