The Serbia–Albania match in Leskovac has already been marred by anti-Kosovo chants from the Serbian crowd.
Fans have been loudly shouting slogans such as “Kosovo, Serbia” and “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia”, repeating them more and more frequently as the match goes on.
These chants are a continuation of the provocative and nationalist behavior that has often accompanied Serbia’s matches against Albania, highlighting once again the politicization and hostility present in the stands.
