“With four votes in favor, Mr. Arian Gashi is elected Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council,” was confirmed during the extraordinary KPC meeting.

He pledged to perform his duties with impartiality and transparency.

Immediately following his election, Gashi resigned from his position as Chair of the Commission for Normative Affairs, a resignation that was approved without any votes against or abstentions.

Gashi’s mandate begins today and will continue until the end of his term as a member of the KPC. He was sworn in as a member of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council in January 2023.
