The PDK candidate for Mayor of South Mitrovica, Arian Tahiri, has accepted the outcome of the runoff election, stating that the result represents the will of the citizens of Mitrovica.
Tahiri expressed his respect and gratitude toward the voters, acknowledging their decision and emphasizing his commitment to democratic values.
“I see the result as the will of the citizens of Mitrovica. I express my appreciation and gratitude. I have not yet spoken to Faton Peci, but I congratulate him on his victory,” Tahiri said.
Regarding possible complaints or irregularities, he confirmed that his teams are gathering evidence and will continue to address those issues.
“Our teams are collecting complaints and facts — that process will continue,” Tahiri told RTV Dukagjini.
